- GHOST OF THE JUNGLE . . In the light of day I step into the cover of darkness. Nothing is visible but the shadow of my frame. In this hidden stance I relax, pausing for a brief moment from my constant excursions and explorations. Standing still I soak in the light around me, while remaining shrouded in darkness. Perfectly framed to capture your heart! As the saying goes “predators lurk in the shadows” so as she walked into the shadow area I deliberately underexposed the image against a very bright background to give her more of a predatory and ghost like appearance. As most predatory action happens at nightfall I wanted this image to look like a scene from the night with darkness like a black canvas punctured by a blunt knife with beams of light peeking through. . .
